So with the most recent update came GNOME 49.1 and with it this bug: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/-/issues/4416. It isn't a complete show stopper, but it is quite disruptive for me as it affects the software I use for work. Imagine a guaranteed delivery of numerous papercuts each day. Maddening!
There is already a patch reverting this issue on GNOME's GitLab, but it's been sitting there for two weeks, approved, but not merged. That tells me the fix is unlikely to come in time for the next sync. People commenting under the bug have an easy fix: downgrade Mutter. But with Solus jumping from GNOME 48 straight to 49.1 I'm afraid that's not an option for me. Or is it? Seeking advice on what to do to avoid going crazy.
