I'm experiencing a very weird issue that is occuring since the very beginning, before I even tinkered with the system, but I've only realized is happening yesterday.
For some reason whenever I start up Solus, my fans start ramping up to high speeds but my CPU temperature keeps steadily rising from about 55°C to more than 100°C. If I do anything in the meantime, I've already had two shutdowns due to overheating. This issue did not occur on my Zorin OS test Installation a while ago, nor does it happen on Windows where as soon as I log in my temps go down to 60 and then rapidly sink to 46°C.
I have attached a screenshot of my System Monitor, Terminal Top command and Fan Control. Fan Control is not the culprit since the system was doing this already from the start but at that point I didn't check temps yet and just though "It quiets down after a while, so it's fine". Besides, I haven't made any adjustments on Fan Control yet. System Monitor shows almost no CPU activity.
Also worth noting that when I sit this "phase" out, temps become normal and I can even game no problem. I simply have no idea what is wrong or where to even start looking for the culprit.
My system:
Mainboard Gigabyte B650 EAGLE D5
Chłodzenie wodne FractalDesign Lumen S36 v2
Ryzen 9700x
GeForce RTX 4060
32 GB RAM
I'd be grateful for any advice and help.
