Password on Plasma

Discover is now installed on my updated Plasma.
I noticed that when updating, I no longer need to enter my password.
Before, it was necessary.
Do you have this too? Is this ‘normal’?

Yes, it is normal. It doesn't prompt you anymore for password because It doesn't run as root anymore. The underlying mechanism is different for Discover and Gnome Software compared to Solus SC.
