How to determine the size of updates

I am on metered internet (for now) and I would check with the old software center on the size of updates
Is their a way with just Eopkg to tell size of update or any other way?
Maybe I missed it somewhere dunno.

is it in the fast terminal output when we do an update? I don't think I've seen it unless it goes past my eyes in the beginning..

If there is a way to get the total size of a single update and will it be available to you before or after you hit the Y/N (metered connection)?

sudo eopkg up --dry-run will attempt to update but not actually doing it and you will see the size of package update if there is update available.

so the sequence would look like
1) get notified of an update
2) don't run update
3) run sudo eopkg up --dry-run instead for update size

I like this not only for op's metered question but for people who keep an eye on available space.
Glad to know there's an option like this

From Eopkg help it looks like you can use eopkg lu to show details about system updates but this would not include Flatpak or firmware.
Solseek not got an option to show update size? Really only been watching that one take shape but will most likely install when it becomes available from the repo. Looking at everything else that is being achieved with this program it would figure that if there is a native Eopkg feature that could do this, then it is probably in a menu somewhere already.
Sorry just random thoughts mainly.
Edit: to be fair the answer by @alfisya looks more promising. It got posted while I was typing otherwise I would have left it at that answer. Checked back with Eopkg help and noticed that the dry run option does not seem to be listed. Just goes to show the power of the forum for error solving!

It is not listed on the main help (eopkg help) but it is listed in any other subcommand help (e.g eopkg upgrade --help).

This command works also (sudo eopkg up -n) easier for me to remember..lol
Gives same ouput as (sudo eopkg up --dry-run)
