It locks itself

Hi, I’m using the XFCE version of Solus and I’m playing Rocket League with a controller, and after some time maybe about a minute it locks itself and I have to enter the password every time. I’ve checked the settings and there’s nothing set to make it lock. I’m on a laptop connected to power, and there’s no option enabled for it to lock due to inactivity or anything like that. What can I do?

In xfce settings manager there is a screensaver section that is problem one. Enabled by default it blanks the screen after X minutes check that.

In the same section there is a lock screen tab at the top. There is a setting specifically to automatically lock the screen when the screensaver activates.

Did you confirm it is not set in those places? I too find screensaver a very odd place to put settings for the lockscreen.

I should probably highlight that turning on this setting in the screensaver section:

Inhibit screensaver for fullscreen applications

Would also likely solve your problem while keeping the screensaver and automatic locking functionality enabled if you are playing fullscreen.
