This package is approved for inclusion in Solus but so far no one has had the time to work on it as far as I know: https://github.com/getsolus/packages/issues/1384
I would need this one included personally so I can use a printer I bought, currently I have a separate Arch Linux machine just for that. I've tried to build the printer driver myself from source but I have not had the technical skill to succeed.
With it being Hactoberfest I'm just posting this in the slight hope somebody is interested in taking a look at this. 🙏
