Forum emails not reaching email provider

Hi,
I'm stuck with a non-booting system and, not remembering my password nor having access to my password manager, tried to create a new password but never got the emails.
So I had to create a new account (this one) but still couldn't receive the confirmation email until I used my son's school account in GMail.
The email provider is sapo.pt and I'm guessing they're blocking your address since your emails are not even reaching the spam folder.

What was your previous account name in this forum? You can @ at the username.

I've looked at the mail logs for the password reset attempts. I believe I know what the problem is, and I'll try fixing it after work. I'll let you know when you can try again. Thanks for your patience.

I sent an email to your main email address, I'm repeating the information here.

Our forum mail service, Mailgun, attempted to deliver the emails to you. Your email host sapo.pt bounced the messages with the error

DNS temporary failure at return MX check, try again laterErro temporario de DNS na verificacao do MX, por favor tente mais tarde (#)
(technical error code: 421 DNS temporary failure at return MX check, try again later (#4.3.0))

This means your hosts's mail server mx.sapo.pt was unable to find an mx record for our mailgun server mg.getsol.us. I can get the mx records, they definitely exist. I've double checked our server setup, and everything looks good. Others, including myself, are receiving emails from the forums.

Please try resetting your main password again. I recommend only trying once. If you still don't receive the email, reach out to the support folks for your email host.

I've managed to log back in to my account although my system isn't fully functional yet.

As per your suggestion, requested a new password reset but the mail still didn't arrive. So I then emailed my mail provider support with the information you provided.

I'm glad you were able to at least get into your regular forum account! If your email provider says there's something we need to do on our end, please let us know.

Hi,

got a reply from the mail provider reporting the error "DNS temporary failure at return MX check” and also that there are getsol.us domain DNS configuration problems, like key 29927 not existing in the zone(?).
They provided this page to get more info about the issue
