There have been some people experiencing network issues on other distros with the 6.16 branch of the Linux kernel. The new, recent release of 6.16.6 supposedly fixes some of the issues, but that has not been tested much at this time.
As an alternative to see if it clears things up, you could install the lts kernel and test with that to see if it clears it up to narrow it down.
If you do wish to test this method...
- Install the lts kernel:
sudo eopkg it linux-lts
- Reboot and hold down space-bar immediately when you see the bios spash screen. This will display the systemd-boot menu and pause the timer.
- Then select the LTS kernel and boot.
That way you can test it all and narrow it down to either being the new kernel or something else.
