djikke I’ve waited through several updates hoping the ‘broadcast...’ message that appears before shutting down my PC would disappear, but it’s still there. Does anyone know how to hide it?
Harvey It is supposed to be there. To my knowledge the best you can do is install plymouth which just throws a splash screen over it, but it'll probably still appear for a second.
paracetamol Harvey it'll probably still appear for a second Never experienced that on distros that come with plymouth installed by default. Not trying to be pedantic. Just a heads up that if someone is bothered by the broadcast, plymouth will likely do the job for them.
