Firefox not saving sessions

I am not completely sure when, but since last week I noticed Firefox is not saving my tabs between sessions. Has anyone faced this? This is a relatively new install, but I have been using Firefox since installation (not exclusively), but then noticed this is happening.

I already tried deleting the full ~/.mozilla folder, what else can I try?

There is a setting in firefox that does this. Is it enabled on your install?

Check inside your .mozilla/firefox folder and reload the older profile. The new install creates another one, just check the dates.
