IBurntMyRice Balena Etcher is available as the etcher package. It should just show up with GNOME software.
Original-Syn I would suggest Fedora Media Writer over BE. BE has been caught a few times for privacy issues. FMW works really well and is available as a Flatpak.
IBurntMyRice Original-Syn As far as I'm aware all it does is report the image name and USB model, probably just for debugging. I do avoid it myself, but I don't necessarily think that's much of an issue for 90% of people.
Original-Syn IBurntMyRice The problem was they were sending information even if you set it not to, which is not really OK. More of a trust thing than anything else. If they did that, what else could they try. Just not worth the risk when there are other solid tools.
