My laptop refuses to go out of standby

I installed Solus on my HP omnibook ultra 14 with amd ryzen 9 365 and radeon 880M, everything works very well except for one thing: the sleep output. When I put the computer to sleep, the light starts flashing to tell me that it is indeed asleep but there is no way to get it out, whether by pressing the keyboard keys, the button power supply or trackpad. I have to forcefully turn off the PC and restart normally...
I would like to point out that I am running the latest version of Solus with all the updates made and the gnome desktop. If anyone has an idea of how to fix this problem I'm interested !

MXC48 Never been on Gnome but there should be a Settings panel where you can change the type of sleep that your PC enters. There should be an option to choose between sleep and hibernate, maybe an option for hybrid sleep too although that might be a Windows thing.
Hibernate saves a snapshot to the hard drive so is a little slow, generally not good to use with an SSD due to wear and tear issues.
Sleep saves a snapshot to RAM so is not good if you don't have much RAM or maybe unmatched sticks.
Sometimes switching to a different method will end your problems.
Also some laptops have over aggressive power shedding configured in the BIOS. Check to see if other users with the same hardware are having sleep problems on other OSs.
Power saving programs like TLP might also cause issues.
Switching to an SSD should return boot times measured in seconds instead of minutes. I prefer to always fully shut down and clean boot. Although Linux can update and continue to run without a restart occasionally switching it off and back on again seems to fix a lot of little issues.

This should work out of the box, and the only thing I can think of is that it's a firmware issue. How this can be fixed, however, is beyond my knowledge.

In hibernation, the power LED does not flash. So he's in standby mode
