VirtualBox do not start after latest Update

after last Update the VirtualBox 7.1.10 don't start.
What is the reason for that?

Sanity check first, please try these few things:

uname -r
eopkg info virtualbox-current
Try launching virtualbox from command line
Try updating again sudo eopkg up

You don't mention which edition of Solus you are using (Gnome, Plasma, XFCE or Budgie) but VirtualBox is working fine on my Plasma Wayland laptop.
Restart your PC and try running it again.
If you are still experiencing problems then some more detailed system information might help others to help you. Please post terminal output of inxi -F

Hanisch Just a few guesses that might be worth following.
Noticed that you are using the Nouveau graphics driver for your Nvidia card. I know these are fine for some functions but it could be the graphics driver that is standing in the way of the program launching. Please ignore if you have previously used Oracle VirtualBox with Nouveau graphics drivers installed or if you already know that the Nvidia drivers cause problems or are not available for your system.
I always run Plasma using the wayland compositor which is not stock in Budgie or Mate. I have a vague recollection of someone having issues with Oracle VB when trying to use X11. As an experiment I will try logging out and switch compositors to see if Oracle VB still wants to play nicely.
Last thought. Have you previously used Oracle VB in Linux? Failure to register with the user group will stop the program loading. From terminal run sudo usermod -aG vboxusers $USER to fix that.

Edit: OK so switching to X11 made no difference to Oracle VB running.

Which seems to point at a problem with your GTK theme on your setup. Maybe try reverting to the default theme if you have applied anything different.
