Sebastian Thanks again, I have basic knowledge of Linux, mainly Debian, but I would like to contribute to Solus, perhaps testing updates, my PC is weak and old, this could help, I am retired and would have time for this, if I can contribute, how do I do it? The best way to test upcoming updates is to switch to the Unstable repository. HOWEVER this means you should be prepared to deal with broken packages at times (though in my experience it's usually quite benign), and, importantly, check the topic in the #Solus-Packaging Matrix channel to see if it's currently save to update. Note: This is only recommended for experienced users.

A beginner friendly way to contribute is also to report issues you experience to the forum and to the dev tracker where you can also request packages to be updated when outdated.

alfisya Hello, I just downloaded and installed the new update, I edited (GSK_RENDERER=cairo to #GSK_RENDERER=cairo and reboot) and it worked. Then I edited it again and deleted everything (#GSK_RENDERER) and it worked... I believe the new update worked... Just thanks... I want to start working more with this, do you have any websites or pdfs so I can study? I know a little about old Pascal and C++ but very little, I would like to learn more, if you have any tips... thank you very much, the update solved the problem.
