KDWallet Question

Axios

I have 2 wireless connections This didnt start until I created those connections.
But every time I boot up KDWallet wants me to enter Admin pass (I dont use Login)
Is this normal and how can I not have that not happen.

Axios Not sure if I have picked up on quite what is happening here. It looks to me like you are using KDE in some format (Plasma?) which will always try and save your wireless password into KDE wallet. If you cancel out of that process twice you will then be allowed to save your WiFi password without KDE wallet. Once the WiFi password has been saved in this way you should not be prompted to put it in again.
I think this is a known issue with Plasma which will be fixed in 4.8 with any luck.

That's the age-old Linux question of "Can I unlock my keyring automatically when using autologin?", which always seems to have the answer: "Not without unsavoury workarounds". But my knowledge might be a bit outdated.

Staudey Re-read @Axios original question after your answer and it makes more sense now 😆
Look at KDEWallet in Settings maybe? or change login to use a password. All I've got I'm afraid.

BuzzPCSOS I went in and turned off Kdwallet then it let me store the passwords in the connections
and viola.
I dont do anything on linux that needs Kdwallet.

But staudy was right thats what I was having issue with because it was storing wifi passwords in wallet

Sometimes I am not so clear (Just yell at me..lol)
