I noticed some icon display anomalies in the gnome-characters application:

So I applied your solution just a bit modified (you should have written font and not fonts) by typing:
sudo eopkg it font-noto-emoji

and here's the result:

That's interesting. It's a dependency of all the branding packages (that is, the default configuration packages for each DE). So unless you've uninstalled your DE's branding package for some reason, it should've been automatically installed.

It happens that I have to reinstall some python module starting from Pip itself... and nevertheless:

$ python --version
Python 2.7.18
 ~ $ python3 --version
Python 3.12.10
~ $ pip
bash: /home/fab/.local/bin/pip: cannot execute: required file not found
~ $ python3 -m pip --version
/usr/bin/python3: No module named pip

By re-installing Pip2 something has improved:
python3 -m pip --version pip 25.0.1 from /usr/lib/python3.12/site-packages/pip (python 3.12)
but I think I will have to redo all Venv environments, perhaps it is normal in these cases ... n-mila venv and script sig 😅

FAb7D pip is no longer part of the main python3 package and has to be installed separately. The package is called pip

presianbg Yes, johano had that same problem (you can see it if you scroll up a bit). algent already have an idea to solve it which is we might have to update it to a beta version. It is up to the maintainer on how to solve it. Sorry about that.

You may want to explore other alternatives in the meantime, like rofi. Just a suggestion : )

Not an actual problem but simply a (very minor) nuisance: ponysay throws a syntax warning every time it sends a message.
/usr/bin/ponysay/balloon.py:46: SyntaxWarning: invalid escape sequence '\-'
It still works, it simply complains about it.

Perhaps there is some small problem with the softwer center: after you have installed one program, it prevents you from looking for another one to install, or maybe is only a temporary problem
