Budgie window previews disappear after logout or suspend

When I start my machine, Budgie's application previews (via budgie-previews) work as expected — I get live window thumbnails on Alt+Tab. However, after logging out or resuming from suspend, the previews are gone, and the system falls back to basic icons.

Since I rarely reboot and usually just suspend or log out/in, this makes budgie-previews unusable for my workflow.

Has anyone experienced this? Is there a way to make the setting persist across sessions?

Any ideas or workarounds would be appreciated!

haligh Strange things happen when using suspend or hibernate (what I use). For example, I use Radeon-Profile, which is an application that I use to control my gpu fan speeds, and when I hibernate and come back Radeon-Profile doesn't auto start as usual and even when I manually start it it doesn't work correctly.

My guess it's something to do with permissions or systemd weirdness.
