Is there a way in Nemo if you want to run a file to add extra commands to start it?
I want run it from nemo by clicking but add extra commands to it

Are you talking about a specific file type or any files in general? Would it be always the same command you wanna add or would the command vary?
Maybe you can solve this with a custom desktop file and then associate the file type with this desktop file in nemo or chose this desktop file via right click open with on demand.

brent Context would be ok as long as it let me add the extra commands on the
end (if I was testing something) sometimes it needs tested from file manager
maybe a plugin but have not had much luck

If I understand this correctly, then you only need this function if you want to test something, in the event of a troubleshooting. Or?
Then, in the relatively rare cases, the terminal would be better. Then you will also see the output. Otherwise it wouldn't be visible at all.
Or I really didn't understand your use case.
Then unfortunately I can't help you either.
I don't know anything that the file manager option offers to add context.

Perhaps the plugin nemo-terminal can help you.
It adds a terminal session in Nemo at the top (accessible by pressing F4), and automatically positions itself on the folder where your file is located.

But was wanting something for like when in Nemo you double click to run and it wont run but it runs ok in
terminal and from a menu(But with those extra commands added)

Maybe a nemo script or something but that seems like lot extra work just to run a file.

I have one now that is that way but wanted to add extra commands to it when I ran it from Nemo
to see what was causing the issue Nemo or System.
Havent dug into it deep yet.

Context menu item like (Run with extra commands) commands when you have file selected in Nemo you slecect
(run with extra commands) and lets you add them then it appends those to the file you selected and runs it.
Would be a simple tool to help trouble shoot.
Shrugs seems simple enuf.

I might be on the wrong track here but I usually get round this sort of thing by writing a script starting with #!/bin/bash.
That gives me a clickable shortcut with extra commands built in. For eg I use one to clear the cache on Discover before running the program to avoid the "ar language, local name empty" bug.

check this out--it matches what you want: a self-created context window. needs 2 deps I don't know if Solus has (I'm at work):readlink andxclip but this looks so cool I may try it.

Axios we have xclipin the repo. ~~don't see readlink. wonder what package its inside of?~~
edit: readlinkis a cli command so it's installed. not in repo so probably part of a larger suite.

readlink is part of the package coreutils it is not an optional package and must be on every system. It provides many of the basic Linux commands people are likely to know. https://github.com/getsolus/packages/blob/main/packages/c/coreutils/pspec_x86_64.xml#L23

Example
Tahoma2d.AppImage runs from terminal but not menu or Nemo Unless
I use this (Exec = path/to/tahoma/Tahoma2d.AppImage -TAHOMA2DROOT path/to/tahoma/tahomastuff) for a menu item.
So If running from Nemo would have to add (-TAHOMA2DROOT path/to/tahoma/tahomastuff) to the end of the
Tahoma2d.AppImage and see if it works from Nemo.

My gut feeling is its not finding its Files so wanted test run it that way from Nemo.

I though that would be something handy for future things if it wasnt to invovled in doing so.
