Using KDE Plasma and Dolphin. Some jpg's does not preview, while many does. I checked other posts here and from there I verified kio-extras is installed and Dolphin's settings does not restrict file preview based on size. What else can cause that some jpg preview in Dolphin and others don't?

    They are saved as .jpg but they're actually .png. Renamed the file format and it previews as should.

How's your preview config setup for Dolphin looks like? Are both jpeg ticked?

    Did you press F12 by accident? I think that toggles preview on/off in Dolphin.

    Also do you have kio-extras installed?

      Did not know about F12, good to know, but no, that is not the issue.

      kio-extras installed:

      $ sudo eopkg install kio-extras
      [sudo] password:
      The following package(s) are already installed and are not going to be installed again:
      kio-extras
      No packages to install.
