, or the directory doesn't exist. Maybe you could try reinstalling and telling it not to create the symlink.
So this line would be: Would you like to symlink /usr/local/bin/reaper to /opt/REAPER/REAPER/reaper [Y/N]?: N
I used the install script from the Linux Download section at this link. Just download, extract to a folder (I keep third party programs in ~/Applications), and then run install-reaper.sh
). I am sorry if you know all this already. Just trying to be as clear as possible.
What error are you specifically trying to fix? Does it start to render? Does it give you an error message when you attempt it?
It may also be worth trying the Flatpak version (can install flatpaks from Gnome Software if on Budgie/Gnome or KDE Discover if on KDE).
