Been playing with efibootmgr tonight as Solus had disappeared from the boot menu (F12) of my Gigabyte machine and I could only boot into Win 11.

A bit of googling well Duck Duck Go, and I came across a tutorial page on efibootmgr which I found was on the Live Solus ISO and was able to restore the Solus bootloader to my UEFI boot menu. Handy.

banger Seeing this post, I checked the efibootmgr settings on my machine, and noticed that the timeout has been reset to 1 sec. I've set it to 10 sec a while back. Last update must have been responsible for this reset?
I haven't seen the efi boot screen for about a week or so. This must have been it.
I reset it back to 10 sec now with vengeance. 😆

I was playing with backup programs to test the restore and when I restored the Solus bootloader disappeared so had to load Solus Live USB to restore order. Strange things happening.
