Hi there, I'm using an USB Bluetooth Dongle to connect my Microsoft Designer Mouse and Keyboard to my Desktop PC.
The Designer Mouse works just fine, but when I try to pair the Keyboard, all sort of weird things happen:
- It takes ages to appear on the available devices (over than 2h with multiple trials of turning on its pairing)
- When it appears I try to connect it, a pop-up window asks to type some numbers and press enter, when I do, everything freezes for a bit and the bluetooth turns off and on again, and everything gets forgotten, I have to pair everything again
- Some times it kinda work, but the mouse gets disconnected. When this happens after a minute or so, my Wi-fi adapter turns off, I get a message saying it failed to connect to the internet and one or two minutes after that the Gnome interface breaks
I tried to use bluetoothctl
to manually connect it when it appear (after 1 or 2 hours trying to connect) but it takes a lot of time just to return an error:
Failed to connect: org.bluez.Error.Failed le-connection-abort-by-local
When I tried to use blueman it some times popped this error as well "Connection aborted by local"
Which I think is related to the fact that the "password" window necessary to pair the keyboard doesn't show up on these methods.
Can you guys help me? It's the only think I'm missing in this new computer. It would made my day if I got this fixed.
