I attempted to start my pc, but Solus XFCE has an empty boot folder. What do i need to 'copy-pasta' into that to get it running/working again? I have used to 'live-XFCE' installation disk, and the files are there but the boot folder is empty. Any help would be greatly appreciated !!!

catfishsushi Start by downloading this version of rescatux which should be version V0.74. The website is a little confusing and links keep taking you away from the software that you need. The link I have provided is the same as the one provided on the rescatux website but it takes a bit of finding.
Check out the rescatux website and read some of the tutorials then boot rescatux and use the repair functions available. You will need to know if your PC starts as UEFI or BIOS.

BuzzPCSOS After watching a few hours of you-tube videos on how the Linux startup & Boot step by step processes work, It would be the MBR is missing in Action. The OS files are all intact, looked through with the help of the XFCE 'Live' installation disk, and even copied a few to my flashdrive in case i can't get this fixed.

catfishsushi As I remember there is a good level of hints and suggestions when you are in the rescatux environment. As long as you have a fair understanding of what you have installed (UEFI or BIOS) you should be able to make the right decisions without too much trouble. Take your time and read what the descriptions say.

BuzzPCSOS Thank you for your responses. I opted to use the special nvme sterilization tool and do a fresh reinstall, which is working well regarding booting into the OS. Please mark this Thread as 'Solved'.
