banger My RAM usage is usually around 5-6G with many tabs open in Chromium but tonight it has shot up to 12G. Looking in System Info. / Processes I find Xwayland using 2.4G of it. Is this normal? Cant find anything as large as that in the process list. Curiously ending the Xwayland process gets my usage down to 6.8G. Memory leak?
TraceyC Which desktop environment are you using? For reference, on my current Plasma session, Xwayland is using about 30 MiB of RAM. Total RAM used right now is 26.8 GiB If you shut down the browser, does the RAM usage go down? What's the new value?
