Cant get KRDP to start

Having leaned KRDP is out of Alpha and I need to move to Wayland on my last remaining machine using X11. Have install KRDP and opened the Remote Desktop Settings in Plasma and set a username for access. I have set to autostart at login but it doesn't start. Indeed when I flick the switch to Enable Server it shows the machines IP briefly then turns off. Help!

Think I have found the problem. Xrdp was installed and KRDP didn't like that, must be jealous. Anyway removing Xrdp and packages with reboot seems to have solved it.

Problem 2, now that I have my machines talking to each other on Krdp, how do you ensure the sharing setting remain after reboot. It is ok if I dont reboot can connect without trouble but if I reboot the remote machine it asks again for sharing permission on the remote despite the box for allow automatically for future sessions being checked.

This is turning into a nightmare. Wrote a script to restart krdp after a minute as auto login the krdp server was giving a password error -7. But that gives Nvidia driver errors cant find DRM. Might just go back to X11 and use anydesk.

The best place to get support for KRDP is through the KDE Bug tracker
Do a search for KRDP to see if the issue has already been report. If not, feel free to open a new issue.

Well after more digging it seems that KRDP doesn't like auto login which kind of defeats the purpose of rdp. Turn off auto login and KRDP starts normally with no errors.
