engrampa not opening folder when clicking show and quit

whenever i click show the files and quit when extracting with engrampa, it never opens up thunar, but clicking the regular show files does work.

i'm using xfce currently

I think just making the right defaults apps in xfce will fix this but I don't understand it.

You download a zip? You are in /Downloads? You click 'show the files' after extraction or before?
So you are viewing /Downloads in Thunar or grampa?
What does/is 'the regular show files' mean?
