This is the launch of the UAE's Thuraya 4 communication satellite. I never get tired of watching these.

This is the Starship's upcoming flight test - number 7. If you scroll down to the section of text, it explains what all is new, and being tested for the first time. I'm not sure when this is planned to launch - the article just says that it's being prepared - but I assume it will be soon.

EDIT: A little research provided the answer:
"SpaceX is targeting Wednesday, January 8 for a Falcon 9 launch of 21 Starlink satellites, including 13 with Direct to Cell capabilities, to low-Earth orbit from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Liftoff is targeted for 10:27 a.m. ET, with backup opportunities available until 2:17 p.m. ET. If needed, additional launch opportunities are also available on Thursday, January 9 starting at 9:59 a.m. ET."

The web site confused me about which vehicle was to be launched next. As you can see, it was another Falcon 9 launch, not the StarShip. When I checked this morning, the StarsShip was being transported to its launch pad, so just stay tuned. It should happen soon.

craigtoyoracer The race may begin 1:00 AM Monday when New Glen makes a maiden voyage .

Thanks! I had no idea that Blue Origin was this far along with their development. Lets hope they're more successful than Boeing has been.

MODERATORS: I'm going to create a new thread called "Space: The New Frontier" that will be more comprehensive than this one. I'd appreciate it if someone would move these articles to that one. Thanks!
