I installed PCLOS first on my gpt hard drive as uefi. Then I installed Solus Plasma in another partition and now I only have Solus showing in the boot menu. How do I add PCLOS that is already installed to the menu?

It turns out that I can boot PCLOS if I hit the F12 key while rebooting and get the one time boot menu.

So, my question is, Is there a way to get both distros on the same boot menu?
Thanks

Are you absolutely sure you didn't accidentally tell Calameres to use the whole disk to install Solus? Can you still find that PCLOS partition on the disk if you look with a partition tool like the KDE Partition Manager?

WetGeek Yes, I am sure I didn't use the whole disk. Below is the edit that I did to my original post.

Then you're right. It's still there. When I was much younger, I fooled around with dual booting, but not for a very long time. I much prefer virtual machines for accessing various distros. I'm hoping that my friend @brent will chime in with some suggestions - he's an expert in this area.

F12 might be as good as it gets. this is the way I normally boot. but I'm built for the hard way.
I have Solus and a backup on the same SSD.

If there's grub involved you've already created problems but I don't believe you did that.
Open Gparted and put boot/esp flags on the boot partition that is not solus. I assume PCLOS has its own boot partition.
          reboot as you go.
In gparted (or KDE partition manager) you could show pictures of what it all looks like.

flattered but I go down in flames a lot!

Thanks for all the help. I'll just F12 to get into PCLOS. It has been my daily distro for years. Once I am in it I won't have to use the F12 key. If I can just leave well enough alone and not make a mess of either distro. I will still go back to Solus. I like to keep learning even in my advanced 81 years.

            keep on rocking, man.
Never heard of PCLOS til today. Looked it up. Another independent, nice.
