Hello everybody.

I've been looking for the option to turn off "Select All" by double-clicking in Dolphin. Can anyone direct me to that options?

Thanks.

  • Open Dolphin -> Hamburger menu -> Configure -> Configure Dolphin -> View tab.

Then General tab should be selected and at the bottom of the options on that tab is:
    Background: Double-click triggers.

Change the drop down to something of your liking.

No. When you double click on an empty spot in Dolphin its select all your files in that directory.

Open Dolphin -> Hamburger menu -> Configure -> Configure Dolphin -> View tab.

Then General tab should be selected and at the bottom of the options on that tab is:
    Background: Double-click triggers.

Change the drop down to something of your liking.

Harvey changed the title to Dolphin: Change double-click blank space behaviour? .

Sorry, I misunderstood what you meant. Anyways, this thread is of interest to me, I didn't know you can modify this. 🙂

No idea why but my Dolphin Configuration Window looks completely different and has a different set of options

Really sorry, I just figured this is a different distro.
I landed here from a Google link and did not realize this was not Kubuntu. I'm using KDE Plasma.
