Numlockw to enable numlock on Plasma system startup

Hello,
I'm looking for a way to have my numeric keypad activated at KDE 6.2.3 session startup under wayland.
After several searches, I found the numlockw software, an equivalent of numlockx but for wayland.
Is it possible to add it to the repository?

I'd like to point out that I've of course tried in the KDE settings but with no effect.

The pull request for the fix was merged to unstable, and has been synced to stable. The fix should be included in any fully up to date system. If you still can't get Plasma to turn on numlock at startup, let us know.

I followed the post shared by Harvey and it works.
Apparently it still doesn't work without doing the manipulation with the kcminputrc file and enabling the fstrim.timer service.
There is also a person who recently reported the problem on Mastodon.

If your system is up to date and you still have to use a workaround, please open an issue on our bug tracker for this (if there isn't one already). By opening an issue, it will allow our developers to look into it and keep track of progress. Thanks.
