Cannot clear jobs from HP printer with CUPS

I have Hp laser printer when I go into localhost:631 I cannot clear the print que but everything
else seems not to show anything that had been printed.

Just installed a Canon printer and it clears everything just fine from cups.
Not really an issue for me but does not seem right not sure if its a Hplip or Cups issue

This is an issue with CUPS. What happens when you try to clear print jobs from the HP printer?

TraceyC It acts the same either way Installed printer without Hplip still had the issue
not sure why it singled out Hp.
Like I said the canon works without issue.
Maybe this info will help out. (Both are setup as network only)

Please open an issue (if there isn't one already) on our bug tracker for this. By opening an issue, it will allow our developers to look into it and keep track of progress.

This may turn out to be an issue with CUPS that needs to be reported to them. The bug report will help us determine that.
