brent I felt that my question is unrelated to battery saving tweaks. Don't you think? They're discussing a whole different aspect of power management. I'm trying to adjust the behaviour of my laptop when the battery level is critical because the current one makes it hang (it's a problem unrelated to the OS, with how my BIOS handles suspending to RAM).
So, are there config files to be edited to change those behaviours since the options aren't available in desktop configuration tools? Any help/experience with that is appreciated.
