USB Card reader issue

I got a email from government that i have a important notification.
I wanted to log in with my id card but i got the message card reader is not responding.
When i check with pcsc_scan it shows the name of the card reader and that a german passport has been scanned.
But at the end of the screen there is a "/" cycling.
Not sure this is normal.

I tried librewolf and firefox
Anything i can try ?

I think it is rather the Ausweisapp.

In win 10 it works like it should
