banger Does Plasma automatically trim SSDs? On other distros I have had to write a cron job. As cron is not available on Solus I have written a systemd timer for once a week to fstrim all drives. Did I need to bother?
Harvey No you did not need to bother. All Solus editions already have fstrim.timer which runs fstrim once a week on all valid drives listed in /etc/fstab Pretty sure most Linux distributions do this by default.
