Stably on Plasma for the last 5 or 6 years, regularly switched every six months or so before that. Tried Gnome, Mate, Budgie, XFCE, Unity, LXDE, Enlightenment and probably something else in the meantime (my personal machines have been linux only since 2008). While I liked the GTK aestethics in the past, the direction imposed to it by the Gnome foundation in recent years is... not to my liking. Right now the only thing that provides enough looks, features and customizability for my tastes is Plasma, I'm waiting for Budgie 11 and Cosmic for a test drive though.
