Finally upgraded my old card, new card came with a key for Star Wars Outlaws. Says I have to install Geforce Experience or the nvidia beta app, in order to redeem. Apparently the code needs to see that that specific card is installed. Has anyone gotten this to work in linux? VM maybe? Just curious, I didn't buy the card for the game, but it would be nice to get a free game if it's not too much of a hassle.

I did contact Nvidia, their "support" basically just typed back exactly what it says on the redemption instructions. No help there and no interest in helping either.

Maybe a VM with GPU pass through? Any suggestions welcome. If not, no worries!

Hmm, I don't have high hopes that these apps would work in Wine. The last report for Geforce Now has it at "Garbage" compatibility rating, but it's very old by now (https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=application&iId=18872)

Probably a GPU-pass-through VM is your best bet, but I have never done that before. (also not sure if that is possible with a single Nvidia card, or do you have an internal GPU too in this PC?=

Staudey It's only one GPU, so I'm probably SOL. Worth a shot though🙂
