this is true. I've tried it in Fedora, Arch, Ubuntu, etc----they are budgie technically but there is no Celtic Magic. Solus the best experience IMO as well.

The intention was that all the applet icons would have scaling with the panel implemented, but not all of them got done before we had to switch our entire focus to Wayland. It shouldn't be hard to do if someone has a little programming knowledge, especially with the examples of the other applets that it does work for. Someone just has to get around to doing it.
EbonJaeger Thank you for your answer ! Well, if nobody takes care of that I think I will switch to KDE Plasma. Budgie seems to have not enough personalization settings to my taste for now
