Hi everyone : : :! New to Linux, and after several weeks of tests of all kinds (and big crashes) on my laptop (Lenovo legion y540, i5 9300f and 2060M), I decided to permanently quit Windows and stay here, on Solus. It's just amazing, on distros like Mint (22), Ubuntu, Fedora, PopOS, there's no way to play quietly without putting your hands in the engine; Still a missing dependency etc...While Mint is supposed to work directly. For now, no worries here. Nothing special installed (I still installed the Nvidia 555 drivers), but apart from Lutris...Everything works perfectly, there was even Mangohud and Goverlay installed!! Congratulations to the team, keep it up, you will become a reference 🙂 !
PS: The only distro that works as well as solus for me is CachyOS. Not bad but a little annoying problems; System that takes several minutes to shut down, black screen when waking up, some "broken" packages...Have a good evening everyone!! (I am in France) 🙂
