This is the first time in all the years I've been retired that I really would like to be able to set an alarm on my Plasma laptop. That sounds like something that oughta exist, but I'm not having any luck looking for one.

Fireworks have kept me awake until early morning, and I don't know if/when I'll be able to sleep. But today's a really important day, and I need to get up for sure in time to get everything done. I set an alarm on the clock radio next to my bed, but if I fall asleep downstairs that might not be good enough. I'd like to set an alarm down here that gives me a few minutes to run upstairs and cancel that alarm before it wakes up my sleeping wife.

Anybody got any ideas that might help me? Thanks!

KDE does have a clock app that can set alarm. I am not sure if it is availabale in the repo (It probably is, Reilly and Justin loves to stuff the repo with KDE app). It is definitely available as Flatpak.

Gnome clocks has a flatpak if you don't want to use the one from the repository, assuming it loads a bunch of Gnome stuff with it.
