Hi devs,

Now that we have BTRFS option available during Solus installation, and with proper subvolumes created, how about snapper snapshots integrated into SolusOS at install time?
This "final touch" is really a valuable added bonus to any Linux installation and only a few have actually implemented this seamlessly at this moment.
And it's really a safeguard, just in case anything goes wrong, anyone can rollback like nothing ever happened.
And snapper is more tightly integrated with BTRFS than Timeshift, so snapper is a better, more flexible option.

Thanks

Hi, thank you for the suggestion. I think this is better reported in our issue tracker, so staff can better track it. It is certainly an interesting proposition.

Especially with systemd boot and fastboot enabled, boots right to it. It's how I have Tumbleweed setup. I would consider going back to solus kde if they had both snapper and discover available, rather than dabble with it here and there. Good request.
