MikeK61 Max has got a 10 seconds penalty.
if that penalty's applied to this episode in deciding finishing positions, that will limit the points he (and Red Bull) are awarded. I haven't looked at the final timings to see how much that might matter. Anyone?
It makes sense to me that that's what will happen.
But if it's applied to the grid positions for next week's race, it'll be interesting to watch. Sometimes penalties are carried over like that. Either way, I don't think it will be ignored by race control.
I've seen penalties carried over from a practice session, or a qualification to the feature race, but I'm not sure if one can be carried over from one grand prix to the next.
