noto fonts

can i delete the noto fonts package, or will that break my system somehow ?
i was searching thru the available fonts on my system thru the font app, and noticed the majority are noto fonts, and its a huge list, the app is literally struggling at times to update the list.

It's a dependency of all of the Solus branding packages, so if you remove it you'll remove the branding package you have installed for your DE which will likely change the theming of your desktop significantly. I would not recommend it, especially since a lot of applications assume noto is installed since it's generally the default Linux font.
