Shutdown for Plank

If anyone is interested in another hack of how to bind this dialog to the power button(like press pc/laptop power button, and this dialog appears), I kind of know of how to do it 😉

My linux mods and commands files are a mess got to edit them sometime if I ever lose them it will
be a shame stuff in them you wont find places.

Axios Actually I am glad that it works. It was just an idea that I had and I didn't had the time to test it myself.

Sebastian I tried run that dbus command through my brain with no success..lol
It works great but I dont use any those other shutdowns would be nice if it just brought up
the single shutdown menu.
Maybe its not something that it can do.
Anyways I will ponder it some more.

Axios Hey @Axios , I believe budgie-session-quit --power-off is what you want.

My way to do it. Install Menulibre and make an entry:

sh -c "dbus-send --session --type=method_call --dest=org.buddiesofbudgie.PowerDialog /org/buddiesofbudgie/PowerDialog org.buddiesofbudgie.PowerDialog.Toggle"

Save it and drag the app into Plank.

I'm going to write this into "Fun with Plank" thread.
