Tray icons change after recent update

After my most recent update today, some of the icons in my system tray have gone mostly transparent:

Anyone else have this happening or know where the problem would be if it turns out to be some kind of theming issue? I'm using Budgie edition.

pokmu What icon, and I guess also GTK, theme are you using? It looks like its a light theme on a light panel.

I'm using Papirus-Light, but changing the icon setting to Papirus-Dark or just Papirus doesn't change them. The GTK theme I'm using is Qogir-Win-Light, but changing that also doesn't change the tray icons, nor does the 'Dark theme' switch in budgie settings.

I can possibly try to just manually override them in .config/gtk-3.0/gtk.css, but I don't know what the name of the CSS style for those icons is to change it.

I've rolled back my installed package of papirus-icon-theme and my dark icons are back, must be some change in that package that did it. I'll try and find the differences between those versions and see what specifically changed in it related to my problem.

I should note that at the top of the changelog for this newest release of Papirus, it says:

This release includes a workaround and numerous icons for Plasma 6. This workaround may not be correct in others desktop environments.
If your distro does NOT ship with Plasma 6, skip this release.

I don't see anything different between the current and previous version of Papirus in the tray icon on Budgie, no matter whether it's a light or dark theme.
What I do see though is that in both cases the icons for Steam, network-manager and transmissions are light on a light panel, which looks like your issue. But rolling back Papirus does NOT fix that on my system.
