I have the same problem that eryvile has, evolution won't start because of a timeout to the dataserver.

It seems to be connected to the evolution-source-registry.service

Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?

    primeXchange restart registry service?
systemctl --help for all the ways to restart. TRY THEM ALL: start, restart, probably 4 more...

ex.: systemctl start evolution or evolution-registry-sertvice etc

maybe reg service needs s_omething else_ enabled before it will run?

    ---just rambling

    edit
    update up to date?
no broken packages? (sudo eopkg check)
    have rebooted?

Yes, I've tried to restart the service, that's where this error with the CamelM365Settings comes up.
My system is up to date, all packages show OK with eopkg check and I've rebooted.
This started happening after upgrade to Sync Week 17, and Week 18 didn't fix it unfortunately.

      primeXchange
      OK--
sounds like you did everything except the old uninstall/reinstall things...maybe you have.

--if you have been waiting 2 weeks for an update fix then let them know devtracker or continue waiting for a dev here..at devtracker I saw no pending issues and most were last year and didn't even match yours: https://github.com/search?q=repo%3Agetsolus%2Fpackages+evolution&type=issues

this 6 yr old source https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=234518 mentions both getting rid of 0kb files in .config and downgrading version (both worked) but I am suspect.

the only other thing I walked away from reading your output is permissions?

I really hope someone with some more knowledge can give you better ideas. Someone's gotta know why you can't launch Evolution.

Uninstalling & reinstalling evolution and evolution-ews didn't help here either. 🙁

But, as soon as you just remove the evolution-ews package, the service and evolution start again. 🎉
Too bad that I'm actually using evolution because of their ews support 🤦‍♂️
Well, seems like Ikey needs to type faster to get ews support in Thunderbird up and running 😀

eryvile I don't use EWS, but doesn't the Thunderbird add-on 'ExQuilla for Exchange' meet the requirements?

I install evolution from flatpak and works like perfect

primeXchange There was an update for evolution-ews with this sync, but the problem persists. evolution-source-registry.service still fails to register the type CamelM365Settings and then terminates 🙁

joebonrichie Unfortunately not. Clearing the cache didn't help and DEBUG=1 evolution did not reveal anything. I have also removed all Microsoft accounts (exchange and live.com) from my Gnome online accounts and the error still appears.
I also removed .config/evolution, .local/share/evolution and .cache/evolution from my home directory, but still, same error 🙁
