"Something went wrong and the system can't recover"

Hello hello. I installed Solus GNOME on a friend's laptop weeks ago. It went all fine until today, they got that message:

"Something went wrong and the system can't recover. Please contact a system administrator."
It happens at every startup. Looks like a BSOD to me but I'd like to know if there's something they or I can do to save the system, or if I have to reinstall it completely.

Additionnal info: last time they used the PC, they applied the last update and it went fine, but...?

First thing I'd try is entering TTY3 (by pressing CTRL+ALT+F3), and if successful logging in and running the general troubleshooting step here: https://help.getsol.us/docs/user/troubleshooting/ followed by a system update with sudo eopkg up and reboot.

Just want add, after you follow that troubleshooting guide and it is still not fixed. Try run this command to disable all extension :

gsettings set org.gnome.shell disable-user-extensions true

This error usually happens on me, if I have incompatible Gnome extension.
