cardnotready I wanna install Solus on a Laptop with an M.2 NVMe SSD. Is it recommendable to use a swap partition? Also which kind of the file systems (ext4, btrfs & f2fs) is preferred? thanks!
alfisya If you just started to use linux, just use ext4. Also regarding swap, generally it is useful to have it. In the installer, you have three options depending on your need: No Swap, Swap without hibernate, and Swap with hibernate. If you want to be able to hibernate/suspend/sleep choose the Swap with hibernate option.
