Today I backed off on panel opacity. the two 70's were my move:
I also hit 'backup and restore.'
Those three moves and this happened:
see that thing on the end? that's the xfce-panel icon. It welded itself into Plank today. It can't be closed. It can't get removed. It will not leave in a cloud of dust like other plank apps when you kick them out.
My pattern is: spend 2 days in the Beta DE, watch everything/I break it, then run like hell to Budgie. Rinse, repeat, once a week like clockwork🙂. I love the DE though.
