craigtoyoracer Yup the same.
New Budgie ISO and system tray. What happened?
busy day. I have one last hour to monkey around tonight and I chose to muck about in xfce after a few days off...
HYPOTHESIS:
1) the widget was the reason it worked (I never added it)
OR
2) Josh and Co. fixed it and announced it and I haven't kept up with the BoB stuff....he told me that no nightlight autostart was an upstream gnome issue they were trying to hammer out
or Both.
Will try it tomorrow. Excited. It is a lot heavier-handed than redshift with the gamma and the red tint and I did get used to it.

I don't know who said that to you, but I don't know how to do this too.
What I did:
- I installed the applet
Night Light
, - then, I made a left click on the icon of the
Night Light
applet situated on the middle of the lower tasks bar, - a window appeared and I activated the night light and customized the display settings like below, and that's it!
penny-farthing I'm done with questions now, I've seen the light! If 2 forum posters tell me they have 24/7 budgie nightlight protection automatically than you've made me a believer. thank you for the pic and confirmation
