Hello everybody,
After a month or so with Solus - Budgie (and still going strong). I'm surprised how up to date and stable at the same time it is. Not a single crash or hiccup, not even when I try to tweak the heck out of it 😃.
Before that I have been using Zorin OS and Ubuntu Budgie on and off the two the last couple of years. Every time I tried to make the switched to Ubuntu Budgie (because I really like the Budgie concept). There was always something that drow me back to Zorin. It might be that Ubuntu Budgie have so many stuff installed by default and the kitchen sink. The last straw was the forced of Firefox snap version. So a friend of mine on the net showed me some screenshots of Solus and I thought what the heck, nothing to loose.
And now - I have been with Solus OS a month or so. I had my fair share of distro jumping from Arch to Zorin through time. But Solus version of Budgie is imminent, so I guess I've found a distro home.
Another thing I like is Solus package manager. So easy, so fast and so simple (in a good way).
Kodus to the Solus Team and to the Budgie team for a great product 🙂
